Charlotte Parenteau-Denoel is a French artist who specializes in hand-made photographic compositions without ever using any kind of photo editing softwaresuch as Photoshop.
Inspired by the Surrealists (especially Magritte) and Conceptual Art, she plays with the association of things to create puns and mind games.

In her „Omnifood“ series, she arranges foods in new contexts, creating situations that make us smile but also reflect about the over-availability of food and the fast-food behaviour of our society.

Similarly, her „Canned“ series, created in ccoperation with artist Mofarts, targets mass production, consumption and homogenization of goods, without ever losing her witty touch.
